Kaweah Falls

Kaweah Falls is a magical place to unwind and get away from the hustle and bustle of city life! This private home boasts 4 bedroom suites, panoramic river views, private beach, private dock, fire pit, outdoor dining, and a fabulous house-manager/concierge that anticipates your every need.  A short trip from LA (about 4 hours or less) and at the entry to the Sequoia National Park, Kaweah Falls is a dream vacation spot for those of you who 1. don’t want to hop on a plane 2. Don’t want to hop on a plane with a baby in tow and 3. Enjoy “Glamping”. I mean, seriously……if you don’t feel like cooking….they can send someone over to take care of dinner! FABULOUS!  When we arrived, not only were we greeted by the amazing site of this swanky-glamfest of a home, but there in the kitchen, was a batch of freshly baked muffins (the healthy kind…with flax seed and oats) just waiting for us! Don’t you think my heart-shaped sunnies and see-through leopard pants were appropriate for the occasion? I even drank a beer (gasp, shock, horror). Let it be known that I am a true “glamper”!!! xoxo

A Shabby Chic Nursery

December 22, 2011

My mission was to make Charlotte’s room fabulous, yet affordable. Scouring flea markets, Etsy, Craigslist, and Ebay made it a labour of love  to be proud of. Cheers!

Casey’s Cupcakes- Glamming all the way…hohoho

December 22, 2011

We took Charlotte to meet Santa at Fashion Island a few weeks ago and we hopped upon the newly opened Casey’s Cupcakes. Glamour all the way! I’m kind of obsessed. The cupcakes are not as yummy as Spinkles, but the ambiance is so sparkly and pink that I really didn’t care. Girly is an understatement……you should definately wear your glossiest lipgloss and don a tiara for your first visit. Dazzling Dahhhling

I’m back!

October 14, 2011

Well Hellllooooo Glamazons! Oh how I have missed you! Well….I hope you can forgive me for abandoning my oh-so-fabulous readers, but Mamma has been busy!

Since I last posted, I have:

Been knocked up

Had a fabulous little glammie-baby two whole months early! Super scary, but very thankful to have a growing, healthy girl who is now a whopping 9 pounds at 4 months! This is a photo of her first day at home from the hospital.

And just doing my best to get my pre-baby bod back by doing Bar Method workouts and trying to keep up with mommy-appropriate fashions! And let me tell you….dressing casual isn’t easy for me because half of my closet is cocktail attire. My high heels have become a thing of the past, being tossed aside for my gold Prada Flats and my hair has gone from long and fabulous to short and sassy. My how life changes! I’m excited to get back to blogging and can’t wait to update you all on all of my new finds!

Fashion Week Sneak Peek!

April 6, 2011

The OC Fashion Association is hosting a sneak peek of OC Fashion Week this Friday at South Coast Collection at 3313 Hyland Avenue, Suite C in Costa Mesa. RSVP at 949-375-0749. The evening will include fabulous nibbles from trendy food trucks, refreshments and a DJ set by Raul Mora.

I’m excited to check out Upperclass Label’s line of custom tees with classically inspired graphics. It’s always nice to support local businesses who strive to make the world a better place! Do you think I can rock my baby-bump in one of their frocks!?!? LOVE!

Let’s not forget about our dear friends at 31 Bits! Their new spring voyage collection will be featured at the event as well. I’m totally in the mood for layered necklaces and bracelets for Summer!

Haute Cakes!

April 5, 2011

I’ve been overly obsessing over the Orange Ricotta Pancakes at Haute Cakes in Newport Beach (which I’ve deemed the BEST BREAKFAST SPOT EVER). You must pay a visit ASAP! Word to the wise……get there early, as the line backs up quickly. For the hangover crowd on Saturday morning at 11:30am……BEWARE: The owner likes to cut off breakfast and switch to lunch. Some friendly advice to our new favorite eatery: Breakfast should be served until 3:00pm~ YUM! Visit Haute Cakes at 1807 Westcliff Drive, Newport Beach, CA 92660

If you can’t make it to Haute Cakes, below is a recipe from Martha Stewart for a little DIY breakfast project this weekend:
